The Artist
Mz Shawnte
Raw. Real. Harrisburg.
Story
Mz Shawnte is a rapper and lyricist from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania — a city that shaped her sound, her grind, and her story. With a voice that cuts through the noise and bars that hit like truth, she's built a reputation as one of the most authentic voices in the PA rap scene.
Growing up in Harrisburg, Shawnte found her voice in music at an early age. The streets, the struggle, and the survival — all of it poured into her pen. Her debut project, Streets Don't Lie, is a testament to that journey: ten tracks of unfiltered storytelling over hard-hitting production.
Her singles "Fuck u Say’n ," "who want it ," and "slept on " have earned her a loyal following across Pennsylvania and beyond. Each release showcases a different dimension — the hunger, the confidence, and the love for her city.
Off the mic, Mz Shawnte is a community figure, a mentor to young artists, and a relentless performer. Whether she's headlining a local venue or opening for national acts, she brings the same energy every single time: all the way in, no holding back.
